"Cinqo do Mayo"

San Diego>>  Ahhh San Diego. We are on the home stretch now, and are looking forward to celebrating Cinqo de Mayo is the land down south. The Holiday Matinee boyz have set us up a show at a Mexican restaurant by day/ rock club by night place called Pokez that is downtown. HM is our publicist and hooked us up with a band called Ilya. When we roll into town, Tad is chatting on the phone with his friend who it just so happens is friends with Kyle, our main contact at HM. There is a bar-b-que happening at Kyle's house, so we head on over. When we arrive, Kyle and his friends are playing (and have been playing for quite some time) croquet ... although the rules are altered quite a bit in order to allow for penalty tequila shots... hey, it IS cinqo do mayo. We hang out for a bit, drink some beer and chat. As we leave, Kyle says "I'll see you in an hour or so...". I don't really believe him, as I am already shocked that he is even standing after the barrage of penalty shots he was dealt just in the half hour I was there. Its off to a taqueria for some fish tacos that are absolutely amazing. I mean, San Francisco has got good mexican food... but there are NO fish tacos like these.
